How big are the moonbounces? The moonbounce units are 13x13 and 15x15 for the most part. We also have 8x8 and 8x12 in the toddler section. ^Back to top How many children can fit in a moonbounce? Generally speaking, between 5 and 12 at one time. This really depends on the size of the children and the size of the moonbounce. Remember the adult supervisor should group children of like size and age together for jumping. ^Back to top How much room do I need? Space requirements depend on which bounce you choose. The rule is about 1 to 2 feet around the perimeter. If you can imagine two parked cars side by side in your set up area. Don’t forget you’ll need an area free of low wires and branches, about 16-17 feet high. ^Back to top Does it need electricity? Yes, we will bring a 100 foot extension cord with us, so you’ll need an outlet near the set up area. The blower runs continuously and will require a dedicated 20 amp circuit. ^Back to top Can you set up on my driveway or indoors? Yes. We prefer to set up on grassy area if possible because it is easier to secure the unit but we can set up on your driveway or other hard surface. We will not set up on dirt, gravel, mulch, sand or deck. We can set up indoor but again check for clearance. ^Back to top My yard slopes a bit. Is this OK? Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. If the slope is more than a little, we may request an alternate location you may have in mind. The safety of the children is the most important. ^Back to top Do you set up in parks? Yes. Please review the requirements for park parties. Most Parks will require a proof of insurance from us and most of them have us on file already. ^Back to top What if it rains or is very windy? We do not operate our bounce in high wind and heavy rain. If the weather is uncertain, we will call you before the event and give you the option to cancel or re-schedule for another day. If you decide to install the bounce and it begins to rain, we will not give refunds. If you decide to cancel before the event your deposit will become a credit to use at a later date and up to year from the date of your event. ^Back to top What do I need to do to prepare for the rental? Make sure there will be easy access to the set up site for the delivery. Clean up any, rocks, sticks, And any other debris around the site. Turn off sprinkler. Cut grass couple of days before we deliver. If there is a slope from the entrance of property to the set up area, help will be required from the owner for both delivery and take down. ^Back to top When is payment due and how can I pay? A $50.00 deposit is required for each inflatable booking. The balance is due in full at the time of set-up (Cash, Check or Credit Card). We can even take your deposit online. There is a $30.00 fee for returned check. ^Back to top How far in advance do I need to order? If you are not too picky about style preference, we suggest 3 to 4 weeks. Although we have many moonbounces it is very common for customer to place an order in February for June etc... We have taken reservation one year in advance. All units are booked on a first come first serve basis. ^Back to top How do I reserve a rental date and time? Call us at 301 829-2735 and inquire about availability. If your date is available, we will reserve the date, time and items needed. We will ask for a deposit and we will mail you a rental agreement. Sign and return the white copy and you are set. We will call you usually couples of days before your event to confirm the time of set up. ^Back to top Do you deliver to my area? We deliver mostly in Carroll, Howard, Montgomery and Frederick County. We have delivered as far as Washington DC, Baltimore, Eastern Shore, Virginia and PA. Call us to find out if we can deliver to your area. ^Back to top My party is tomorrow. Can I still get a rental? Maybe! Give us a call and we will try to work with you. We will require a credit card for a deposit and hold your reservation. ^Back to top Can I keep the bouncer over night? Yes. The bouncer must be set in a backyard or area that is fenced and locked up. The fence must be a least 4 feet tall. You are required to rent the moonbounce at the day rate for this service. If we believe that our property is at risk of theft or injury, we reserve the right to cancel the over night portion of any event at any time. ^Back to top |
